The East Pilbara Strenght 2 Succeed Programs concluded with an awards night that was held on August the 28th. 2017 was a year of change for the S2S propgram, with the Netball program being run in Newman for the very first time, as well as a change of coaching staff for the S2S football program.

Special guest for the aewards was VSwans High Performance Manager, and current Fremantle Football Club Womens Captain, Kara Donnellan. Kara gave the students a summary of the aims of the S2S program, as well as the opportunities that are available to them through the S2S program. Kara also helped to present the certificates and awards on the evening.

All students who completed the S2S program were presented with a certifcate, and there was a coaches award presented for each program. We would like to congratulate Tahni Sandell (Football) and Kunyanee McColl (Netball) for receiveing the Coaches Awards in 2017.

Both programs utilised a number of special guesta and coaches throughout the year to assist witht the running of the programs. There were two volunteers in particulaur who gave a significant contribution to the programs, and Kelly Jensen (Football) and Breanna Shuttleworth (Netball) were recognised on the night with Appreciation Awards.

We congratulate all participants in the 2017 S2S programs, and look forward to S2S Netball and Football returning in 2018.
