Our Year 10 Shooting Goals students have been working very hard this year to earn a spot on the 2017 Shooting Goals New Zealand Tour.  Students have displayed positive behaviour in school and the Shooting Goals environment and have also spent many hours volunteering at Port Hedland Netball Association's Net Set Go! Program during Term 2.

Congratulations to the following students who were offered and accepted a spot on this year's tour:
Verinia Bin Saad, Courtney Charles, Azanii Deegan, Taylah Edwards, Jade Ferguson, Jasmin Kilmartin, Amanda Mitton, Kaylea Smith, Holly Spurling, Sarah Stevens, Ashlee Wood and Pascal Zoghbi.

Whilst in New Zealand our students will travel to Auckland and Christchurch where they will witness world class netball when the Australian Diamonds and the New Zealand Silver Ferns battle it out for the Constellation Cup, students will also play a match against a school from Auckland.  When in Christchurch students will also experience some true maori culture, with a live show and a traditional hangi for dinner.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the students selected to further their netball knowledge, watch elite netball played in a stadium with the sports most fanatical supporters, as well as learn more about the history, culture and nature of another country.

Thanks to V Swans Major Partner BHP and the support of the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
