Our 2019 Year 10 Shooting Goals students have just returned from a trip of a lifetime to New Zealand.  Staff and students travelled to Christchurch and Auckland during their eight day tour.  Whilst away students attended game 1 & 2 of the Constellation Cup Series between our very own Australian Diamonds and current World Champions the New Zealand Silver Ferns.  Students also tested their skills in some matches against New Zealand College's which was a great experience for them to test their own skills against the kiwi style.

Students also participated in some tourist activities whilst on tour, with a visit to Ko Tane Maori Village for some traditional games, songs and food.  We also learnt about the Chirstchurch earthquakes which destroyed the city in 2010 and 2011 and got some education around the International Antarctic Centre.

This trip would not have been possible without the fantastic support of the parents of our student group - very organised from start to finish!  A big thank you to our tour supporters Pilbara Ports Authority and the Port Hedland Netball Association.  And to our Major Partner BHP, thank you for your continued support of our program as a whole - we are very grateful for your continued support.
